Thе world’s lеading tеchnology company, Samsung, has recently rolled out a nеw mid-range Android smartphonе on April 22th, 2024. It is believed that thе phonе is an improvеd vеrsion of thе Galaxy M55 released in some markets like Brazil and India; howеvеr, thеy have different dеsigns.

  • Battery Life: It contains a large lithium-ion polymer battery with fast charging support up to power delivery at forty-five watts.
  • Operating System(OS): One UI version 6.1 on top of Android 14

Design and Construction

However, while it follows a similar path to the M55, the C55 differentiates by having strikingly premium vegan leather back cover which comes in Orange and Black colours. This makes the device sleeker and more sophisticated than its predecessor’s plastic rear casing design.

Performance Review

The Galaxy C55 smart phone operates on the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor series 7 generation 1 which is quite capable for medium range applications thus making it suitable for most daily tasks as well as running mobile games.

Camera

The phone comes with a 50 MP main camera at the back. The front facing shooter also has a high resolution of 50MP which will be dear to selfie lovers.

As for this moment, there are no official reports if Samsung Galaxy C55 will be available on the Nigerian market or not. In China, the phone was launched with an alleged price starting at CNY1,999(approximately ₦296,860.05) for the variant with an 8GB RAM while that for the model having 12GB RAM costs CNY2,299 (around ₦341,411.33).
