  • Open the X (Twitter) App and log in to the account you want to subscribe to X Premium.
  • Tap the profile picture icon at the top left corner and tap X Premium from the options that slide out. You will be notified that it’s not possible to apply for X Premium in Nigeria but there’s a way around that.

Instead of using the app, go to X (Twitter) on a web browser on your phone.

  • Tap the profile picture icon at the top left corner and tap Premium on the options that come up. You will be asked to verify your phone number if you haven’t done that already.
  • Tap I’m an Individual.
  • Tap the button at the bottom to pay the required amount.
  • As for payment, it is via card and despite the price showing in Naira, Naira Bank Cards do not work for it. You would need a dollar card from either your bank or a virtual card provider.
