How To Get 2.5GB Or 2GB Data For ₦500 On MTN

If you have been reading Mobility Nigeria, you must be already aware of the new MTN 6GB plan that has a subscription of ₦1,500 weekly. It is great value for money, but the MTN 2.5GB for 500 naira plan is even much better value for money, offering you more data for your naira. And similar to it is the MTN 500 for 2GB plan. These two MTN binge plans offer you more data at convenient prices.

If you do the math, the 6GB Weekly plan gives you 2GB per N500, while this MTN binge plan gives you 2.5GB of data per ₦500. It is the most voluminous data plan on the MTN network and is hard to beat by anything available from the competition. The similar MTN 500 for 2GB data plan is close in terms of value as well. Both cost ₦500 only; one gives you 2.5GB, while the other gives you 2GB. Both are great value for money.

If you do not renew before the data expires or is used up, the unused data is wiped out.

Is there an MTN 200 for 2GB code? We haven’t come across such a code or data plan. There is no MTN datsa plan that currently offers you 2GB for N200. The closest to it is the MTN 500 for 2GB (MTN 2GB for 500 naira) data plan. As already mentioned, validity for this plan is two (2) days.

2024 Update

MTN Nigeria appears to have taken the Data4Me plans off the table. They are no longer available in the app and I have not found them listed or offered anywhere else. Seeing as how things have become so hard in the country, I cannot even blame them for doing this. They have to find ways of surviving the current madness.

Personally, I have now adopted the XtraSpecial data offers as my preferred or favourite plans. If you are interested, you can check my recent tip-off article where I wrote about it: MTN Xtraspecial Prepaid Gives You The Best Data Plans.
