Infinix Note 10 Pro is a 2021 mid-range smartphone for those looking for good performance at a fair price. Perhaps its great attraction is the 6.95-inch display with 90 Hz refresh rate and 180 Hz touch sampling. Infinix calls it “Super Fluid Display”. But there is more to the phone. It is powered by a Helio G95 chipset, has 8 GB RAM for launching and switching apps, has options of 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB storage, and has a hefty 5000 mAh battery with 33W quick charging.

Infinix Note 10 Pro: First Impressions
With such a large display (almost 7 inches in size, diagonally, and a listed weight of 209 grams, we expected the Infinix Note 10 Pro to be a heavy device. However, when we picked it up, we were surprised to find that it felt much lighter than we expected. It didn’t feel heavy in the hand at all. Not only that, it is an extremely slim device, especially when you consider that it has a 5000 mAh battery.
It does feel solidly built, like something that will last. The display is bright, sharp, and clear. We haven’t had enough time to judge the 90 Hz refresh rate, though, as we have had it for only a few hours for this unboxing. The fingerprint scanner is fast; we had no issues setting it up and using it.
We were also expecting a deluge of ads and persistent notifications in the course of using the device, but we didn’t run into any until we launched Phoenix browser, and voilà, two popped up in the notification menu! We sorted it out quickly though by diving into the phone’s Settings menu to disable all notifications for the browser. Hopefully, those pesky ads that Infinix and TECNO smartphones are known for do not show up much later. They are a blot on the user experience of those phones.
PS: We hoped too soon. Before the end of the day, a stream of notifications of the pre-installed Scooper app showed up. We solved the problem simply be deleting the app. Peace.
Our review unit has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of built-in storage. These are generous and the phone runs smoothly, thanks to the Helio G95 chipset and the RAM. This 8/128 GB variant sells for about ₦170,000 in the market right now, thanks to the exchange rate. The 6/64 GB variant costs less. There is also the 8/256 GB variant that costs more. Basically, the 8/128 GB variant is the perfect balance between features and price that you want.
