GSMArena has a leak of the Infinix Hot 30 5G, a model that is no surprise of you have been following the naming convention of TECNO and Infinix in the last several months. In plain terms, there is always a 5G model somewhere close by once a 4G phone has been announced.

Examples: TECNO Spark 10 5G and Infinix NOTE 30 5G. But while these two budget 5G phones have been announced, nobody has seen them to buy in Nigeria till now. I don’t understand why this is happening, and I am betting that you don’t either. Anyway, let’s get back to the Hot 30 5G.

It isn’t every day that you hear of an Infinix phone with some water or dustproofing. This one has an official IP53 rating. In practical terms, it means the Hot 30 5G will survive being splashed with water for up to 10 minutes. Don’t go dropping it inside a bucket or a pool!

GSMArena says the phone will be released in India on July 14; there is no reason to not believe that it will be coming to Nigeria as well.
