Huawei Launches Honor 9A, 9C, And 9S Smartphones

Huawei has just launched three new members to its line of Honor 9 smartphones in Russia with the 9C, 9S and 9A all getting unveiled. All three Honor devices come with great batteries, modest specifications and competitive prices.

Honor 9A

The Honor 9A wields a 6.3-inch display with a 1600×720 pixels resolution and a waterdrop notch for its 8-megapixel front camera. In its rear, there is a 13-megapixel main snapper and a 5-megapixel secondary snapper.

Under the hood, the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC powers this device, coming with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. The smartphone comes with a battery rated an amazing 5,000mAh and runs on a Magic UI 3.1 on top of Android 10.

It comes in blue, green and black and is available for pre-orders at $150 per unit.

Honor 9C

The Honor 9C comes with a 6.39-inch HD+ (1560×720 pixels) IPS display with a punch-hole cutout in the top left corner that houses an 8-megapixel front camera. This phone from Huawei shares a lot of similarities with the Honor Play 4T including a 48-megapixel main camera with autofocus, but comes with an 8-megapixel ultrawide shooter and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The Kirin 710A chipset keeps this device ticking and comes with 4GB of RAM in tandem with 64GB of onboard storage (this can be expanded via a microSD card slot). The Honor 9C operates on a Magic UI 3.1 on top of Android 10 and comes with a 4,000mAh battery.

This smartphone from Huawei is available in blue and black colors for pre-order and costs $175, with official sales set for the 4th of May.

Honor 9S

This device features a 5.35-inch display with a 1440×720 pixels resolution and a 5-megapixel front camera. The rear section features an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus and a LED flash in a rectangular cutout.

At the core of this device is the Helio P22 which is assisted by 2GB of RAM in tandem with 32GB of expandable storage. The Honor 9S from Huawei has a battery rated 3,020mAh and runs on a Magic UI 3.1 on top of the Android 10.

The price point for this device starts at $95, being the most affordable of the three devices and offers colour options of black, blue and red. Official sales are expected to kick off on the 4th of May.
