Samsung Mobile is a premium smartphone maker and so is known for its flagship and budget products. However, that is not to say that they do not have a handful of entry-level devices in the market. There are a handful of cheap Samsung phones you can find to buy below ₦55,000.

The available Samsung smartphones selling for ₦55,000 and less are:
- Samsung Galaxy A02 3/64 GB: This model is equipped with a 6.5-inch TFT display, a 5-megapixel selfie camera, 13-megapixel triple camera at the back, 3 GB RAM, 64 GB built-in storage, as well as a big 5000 mAh battery and 15W fast charging. It sells for 55,000.
- Samsung Galaxy A02 2/32 GB: This variant has the same features as its 3/64 GB sibling, but with RAM cut down to 2 GB and internal storage to 32 GB. The price too is down to 52,000.
- Samsung Galaxy A3 Core is the current baby of the Samsung family. It sits at the bottom of the ladder and sells for N35,000. Its features and specs include a 5.3-inch, 720×1480 pixels resolution display, 5-megapixel selfie camera, 8-megapixel rear camera, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB built-in storage, and a 3000 mAh battery.
As you can see, there are only three Samsung phones in the market at this time that cost ₦55,000 or less. The cheapest Samsung smartphone costs about ₦35,000. If you need something cheaper than that, you will have to look to brands like TECNO, itel, Nokia, Lava, and Gionee. Also, there is a chance that you can find older entry-level Samsung models to buy; if available, they will carry bargian price tags, so hunt around a little.
Every one of the above-listed cheap Samsung phones work with all the four GSM mobile networks – MTN, Globacom, Airtel, and 9mobile – and are compatible with 2G, 3G, and 4G mobile Internet service from any of them.
These phones are available from retail stores in towns and cities around Nigeria. You can also order online via Jumia, Konga, Slot, Pointek, and other online stores. If you prefer to shop from your network operator, they likely have these models for sale too (though they will likely cost more from them).
