The Xiaomi Mi 11 has been plagued heavily by problems since its release. There have been so many user complaints. We’re going to be looking at some of those problems today, and their solutions(if they have one).

Xiaomi Mi 11 problem: Overheating

Several Xiaomi Mi 11 users have complained about their devices overheating during normal use alone, without doing anything heavy. Overheating on your device may occur due to the processor being used heavily or from apps running constantly in the background causing your phone to heat. To reduce overheating on your Xiaomi Mi 11, here are some things you can do.

•Lowering your screen brightness can goal a long way in helping to reduce overheating on your device.

•Close all unused apps running in the background. This is, as mentioned earlier, one of the most common causes of overheating.

•Using a thick case on your Xiaomi Mi 11 does not necessarily cause overheating but it can contribute to overheating.

•Overcharging your Xiaomi Mi 11 can also cause overheating and damage to the battery itself.

•Using your device while charging it can cause serious overheating. Especially playing games while charging.

Xiaomi Mi 11 problem: Freezing up

The Xiaomi Mi 11 has had several complaints about it being laggy or freezing while in use. Lag can occur during different activities like playing games, scrolling through social media, or making a call. It can happen while doing pretty much anything.

•Downloading the latest OS updates can help solve lagging or freezing.

•Clearing the cache of apps in settings, can also help reduce and possibly fix the lag.

•This is the most extreme solution to fixing lag. Performing a factory reset can potentially solve lagging problems.

Xiaomi Mi 11 problem: Wi-Fi Issues

Tons of Xiaomi Mi 11 users have complained heavily about problems with the Wi-Fi option. This is probably the most popular complaint from users. Users say that, for some reason, they can not connect to the Wi-Fi option. Some say the Wi-Fi suddenly turns off for a while – it could be for hours, days, e.t.c. – before coming back on. Some say they can’t even use the Wi-Fi at all and have to take it for repairs.

The Wi-Fi chip gets fried after a couple of months, according to some users. The issues and complaints have been endless. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like Xiaomi has fixed it with any software updates. So, users might be stuck with this one for a while.

Xiaomi Mi 11 problem: Black Screen

Black screens have also been an issue with the Xiaomi Mi 11. The screen suddenly turns black and doesn’t respond to touch. There could be multiple reasons why this could happen.

There could be apps that are not compatible with the system, accumulated cache files, loose LCD connectors, and high temperatures that can cause a black screen. Here are a few ways to fix this problem on your device.

•Having a collection of debris and dust in the charging port of your Xiaomi Mi 11. You can clean up the debris with a sharp object by yourself. But it is advisable to give it to a professional to fix it for you.

•Forcing your phone to restart can fix this problem. To do this, you have to press the combination of the Power Button and the Volume up or Volume down. This will force your phone to restart.

•If the phone eventually comes back on, you can activate Safe mode, to run a scan to check what the problem is. All third-party apps and processes will be turned off while the mode is activated. If the black screen occurs while in safe mode, the problem could be with the hardware. Take it to a professional for further diagnostics.

These problems are some of the problems that users of the Xiaomi Mi 11 might face. Hopefully, Xiaomi will release updates to fix them. If you have problems that were not mentioned, comment down below and we will give you feedback.
