Today, TECNO Mobile has announced three new products, namely, the TECNO Camon 17, Camon 17P, and Camon 17 Pro smartphones, in Africa’s largest mobile market, Nigeria.
Key specs and features of the Camon 17 include a 6.6-inch LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate. 2021 is clearly the year in which high refresh rate displays become mainstream on budget smartphones. All the three Camon 17 devices have a 90Hz refresh rate display.
This TECNO phone also sports either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, depending on your needs or budget, 128GB internal storage, a 48-megapixel triple camera at the back, an 8-megapixel selfie camera in a punch hole, fingerprint reader, and Face ID/Unlock.
This dual-SIM, 4G LTE, phone also has a memory card slot, so you can add extra storage for your photos, videos, music, and other files. It is available in three-colour options – Frost Silver, Deep Sea, Tranquil Green.

What of TECNO Camon 17 Pro?
A Pro model of the Camon 17 exchanges the Helio G85 chipset for the more powerful Helio G95. It has a bigger 6.8-inch display, a 48-megapixel selfie camera at the front, 64-megapixel ultra clear quad camera at the back, as well as 25W fast charging. The price of TECNO Camon 17 Pro is ₦125,000.
