According to the report, there have been no breaches yet, but the vulnerability makes it possible for “malicious actors to take control over user data and device functionality”[1]

This means that all users of smartphones and tablets with SC9863A can potentially be hit. Unisoc and the manufacturers of those devices are expected to work together to fix the vulnerability via a software update.
