While Solo Inspire U5 Plus is a 4G phone, the Inspire U5 is a 3G phone and does not offer support for 4G LTE networks. Besides the 4G difference, the Inspire U5 plus has a bigger display, bigger battery, and bigger RAM that the non-Plus model.
Both devices are entry-level Android phones that come with additional benefits that include free airtime minutes and free data, as well as access to SOLOGames, SOLOMusic, and SOLOView, among others. In addition, both devices come with an insurance package that includes replacement of the device in case of theft once within the contract period, and free screen replacement in case of damage once within the contract period.

How to sign up
This device financing scheme is invite-only. If and when you qualify, MTN Nigeria will send you an SMS inviting you to take advantage of the scheme. Simply visit the nearest MTN participating store with the following;
Identity Card: Driving Licence, International Passport, Voter’s Card, or National Identity Card
BVN (Bank Verification Number): Dial *565*0# to get it.
First month’s subscription fee of ₦4750.
You will be processed, and the Customer360 app will also be installed on the device.
How to settle your monthly instalment
Settle your monthly instalment using the Customer360 app as follows:
Open your Customer360 app
Click the 3 lines beside the Home icon and select account Top-up
Enter your recharge pin and select Fund account
Complete the process to pay your instalment for the month.
You will repeat this monthly till the end of your contract.
For now, this MTN device financing scheme is available only in Lagos. It may be extended to other states in Nigeria over time.
