Comparing two mid-range smartphones from two different manufacturers can be a bit difficult for the average buyer. Not only do you have to grapple with a number of varying (and often confusing) specs, you also need to arrive at the better smartphone (if the comparison has a clear winner) and justify your pick.

Today, we will be comparing two mid-range smartphones in the Samsung Galaxy A20s and Infinix Hot 9. This match-up brings a more recent device in the Hot 9 against an older, more popular smartphone in the Galaxy A20s.

The Galaxy A20s launched in September of 2019, quickly going on to become one of Samsung’s most popular devices of 2019. The Hot 9 is relatively new, launching in March of 2020, and bringing a flurry of more recent updates with it.

Our first point of duty is pointing out the specifications on both smartphones in a side-by-side manner.

Samsung Galaxy A20s vs Infinix Hot 9: Where The Hot 9 Gains The Advantage

The Hot 9 presents a newer Android version (the Android 10 OS) and also brings a different chipset under the hood with a faster processor speed.

The Hot 9 wields a stronger battery and offers more onboard storage than the A20s. It features a slightly larger display with a better resolution and also brings 4G technology to the table.
