Just days after the launch of the Oppo Ace 2, another Oppo device, the Oppo A92s, joins this smartphone as the latest 5G smartphone from Oppo. The device was launched in China and will go on sale in China from the 29th of April.
The Oppo A92s features a 6.57-inch display with a 120Hz screen refresh rate. The A92s’ quad-rear camera setup houses a main camera with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and two 2-megapixel cameras.
Under the hood, the A92s has the MediaTek Dimensity 800 processor to keep the device running, which comes with 6/8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. This smartphone also operates on an Android 10 OS and has a 4,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
This premium mid-range device comes in two variants, with a 6GB+128GB variant costing $311 and the 8GB+128GB variant being priced at $353. This device will bring 5G at a cheap price to users and it will be interesting to see how it fares in the market. The phone is also expected to be officially available in Indonesia, Pakistan, India, Nigeria, and other markets. It is not clear whether or not it will be available in the United States.
