Nokia C1 Android Go smartphone announced and now selling in Nigeria

At the same event where the Nokia 2.3 was officially launched in Nigeria, HMD Global also announced the long-awaited entry-level Android phone, Nokia C1. The C1 packs a 5.45-inch IPS LCD display with toughened glass to protect it from scratches.

Other specs of the Nokia C1 include Android 9 Pie (Go Edition), a 1.3GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB ROM, and a 2500mAh battery. For photography, the main camera is a 5-megapixel snapper. The selfie camera features a 5MP snapper as well. Mobile network support is limited to 2G and 3G. The memory can be expanded with a micro SD card to up to 64GB for those that need more.

While it is a cheap Android phone, its build is polycarbonate, with a stylish metallic finish. Nokia C1 is available in stores across Nigeria at a recommended retail price of ₦18,500. Available colours are black and red.
