Nokia 5.4 is officially available in Nigeria from HMD Global. It is a mid-range device with decent specs, feature sets, and price. What does it offer exactly?
Key specs and features of the Nokia 5.4 include a 6.4-inch IPS LCD, as well as a punch hole in it for the 16-megapixel selfie camera. At the back is a quad camera in a circular camera bump. The 48-megapixel main lens is assisted by a 5 MP ultrawide camera, a 2 MP macro camera, and a 2 MP depth sensor. There is an LED flash present to assist in low-light conditions. A fingerprint scanner is located just below the camera island.
The phone runs stock Android (this means Android without a custom skin). A key feature of Nokia phones is the guarantee of two Android updates and three years of security patches. This means that this device will get updated to Android 11 and also Android 12.
It is powered by a Snapdragon 662 processor. There are at least three memory versions of the phone – 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, and 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. The 4/128 GB variant is widely available in stores across Nigeria.
Keeping the phone on is a decent non-removable 4000 mAh Lithium-Polymer battery. 10W “fast” charging isn’t so fast, but it is better than creepy-crawly regular charging and is available for the 5.4.
