There are currently four Redmi phones under ₦100,000 naira in Nigeria. They are the Redmi 12C, Redmi A3, Redmi A2 Plus, and Redmi A2. I will kick things off by sharing with you the main differences between the four. After that, we shall look at the specs, features, and prices of each of them, one after the other.

The four Redmi phones under ₦100,000, in summary

The Redmi 12C and Redmi A3 have a larger display (6.71 inches) than the Redmi A2 Plus and A2, both of which have a 6.52 inches screen.

The Redmi 12C has a higher resolution main camera (50 MP) than the Redmi A3, A2 Plus and A2 (8 MP).

All four of these Redmi phones under ₦100,000 have the same battery capacity (5000 mAh). All four also have 10W charging.

The Redmi 12C runs on Android 12 with MIUI, while the Redmi A2 Plus and A2 run on Android 13 Go Edition. The Redmi A3 runs Android 14 Go edition. In simple terms, the Redmi A3, A2 Plus and A2 are entry-level Android phones.

The 2GB RAM + 32GB variant of the Redmi A2 Plus costs about ₦80,000 at the time of this article, though it is quite hard to find. Your best bets for finding one are Jiji, Jumia, and Konga.

Honorary Mentions

If you look hard enough, you might get lucky and find the Redmi 10 somewhere, going for between ₦55,000 and ₦95,000. You might even find other older models.
