With the launch of the Android 11 Beta a couple of weeks ago by Google, devices like the Google Pixel 3 were some of the first set of smartphones to receive this Android Build. Now, OPPO has released its own preview version of the Android 11 which is currently limited to the OPPO Find X2 and Find X2 Pro devices.

This new release on the Find X2 series will feature OPPO’s Android skin with ColorOS 7.2. This release will also see a number of new features like the switching between light and dark modes, quicker access to messaging notifications and easier home control devices. However, these features are expected in later releases.

For Find X2 users who want to experience the new preview version, it is important to ensure that all your data is backed up before downloading this preview, as all your data will be erased during upgrading. Also, this release may have a number of bugs as it is still majorly for testing purposes.

You can download the upgrade package for your OPPO Find X2 or Find X2 Pro. After which, turn off your device, then press the power and volume buttons down simultaneously to enter recovery mode and then install the update package. All your data will be erased and the Android 11 preview will be installed.
