While Xiaomi fans are in shock and have been critical of their beloved brand’s choice, MediaTek is very excited about Xiaomi’s choice of the Go9T. The CEO of MediaTek India has been quoted as saying that it would help change the perception that users have of MediaTek processors as inferior to their Qualcomm counterparts.
