Where itel S15 Pro has an edge

The S15 Pro edges out its cousin from TECNO in camera performance, battery, user experience, and price. It looks like a runaway win for itel here.

Where TECNO Spark 4 Air has the edge

TECNO spark 4 air hands-on

This is odd, but it does not appear that the Spark 4 Air has any functional or performance edge over the S15 Pro. HiOS, the user interfacem, offers a lot more features than itel’s more plain interface offers. But it is also cluttered and not as refined, so it is difficult to say this is an edge.

I do think that the Spark 4’s paint job is prettier, but that is a subjective thing and each individual will have to determine whether they prefer it or not.

itel S15 Pro vs TECNO Spark 4 Air: Which Should You Buy?

As has been made plain, these two share the same processor, RAM, internal storage, and build material. In other words, performance will be almost at par.

The differences include battery capacity, camera performance, and user interface.

While TECNO’s HiOS puts extra features in the hands of the Spark 4 Air’s user, it is not one of the smoothest implementations of Android OS that we know. On the other hand, itel’s minimalist user interface, which is pretty much pure Android OS, offers less clutter and gives a performance edge.

Next, there is the issue of the bigger battery capacity in favour of the itel S15 Pro. Lastly, the itel is about ₦1,000 cheaper than the Spark 4 Air. That is not much of a difference, but it is enough to swing it for some.

Considering all of the above, if I were buying a budget smartphone for myself and I had to choose, I would go with the itel S15 Pro. Perhaps others may make a choice based on some other feature or factor.

That is the beauty of choice in a diverse market. And so, I put the question to you: between itel S15 Pro and TECNO Spark 4 Air, which would you choose?
