Infinix Zero 8 vs Samsung A71: Where The Zero 8 Holds The Advantage

The Zero 8 features a larger display with a slightly higher screen resolution than its rival. It also comes with more RAM than the Galaxy A71.

The Zero 8 offers larger numbers than its counterpart when it comes to the selfie cameras, but there is no telling if these actually improve the device’s picture and video call quality or not. It is also way cheaper than its rival, costing far less than the Galaxy A71.

Infinix Zero 8 vs Samsung A71: Where The A71 Holds The Advantage

The Galaxy A71 brings a slimmer, lighter frame to the fray with a more aesthetically pleasing design. It also boasts a faster processor under the hood, while featuring a sleeker design than its rival (in my humble opinion).

It also boasts the latest Android version for Samsung devices, complete with the latest security patches and improvements. And if Samsung’s track records is anything to go by, the operating system will get updated down the road.

Also, the Samsung A71’s display may not ave a 90Hz refresh rate, but the Super AMOLED screen is top quality. Samsung makes the best displays in the business and the Zero 8’s IPS panel doesn’t come close.

Infinix Zero 8 vs Samsung A71: Which Of These Devices Should You Buy?

Both devices offer solid processors, support 4G technology, boast decent numbers in terms of camera specs and provide great batteries to carry their impressive specs. The Zero 8 offers a cheaper option than its counterpart, bringing some really great specs at a lower cost.

It also has more RAM and a slightly bigger screen than the A71, but shares a number of its features with the A71.

They both have the same battery rating, have the Android 10 OS and share the same storage spaces (onboard and external).

When it comes down to making the hard decision, the price of the Galaxy A71 does very little to help its cause. The smartphone is far more expensive than its rival, and with a price tag like that, it is only natural to expect more from the Galaxy A71 in terms of specs. It is this price tag that will make budget hunters pitch their tents with the Infinix Zero 8.

If you are on the lookout for a mid-range device that does not cost too much, then the Zero 8 is the ideal phone for you. For everyone else who can afford to spend more, Samsung’s aspirational brand image will tilt their decision towards the Galaxy A71. Plus, while we don’t have hard evidence in the form of a shootout, the Korean brand’s camera prowess suggests that the A71 is the better camera phone.
