OPPO Reno 4 Pro has started to receive a new update that offers the latest security patch. This update is also expected to bring a number of camera upgrades to the OPPO Reno 4 Pro. The Reno 4 Pro and Reno 4 made their debuts in China in June 2020 and have received a number of software updates already.
The OPPO Reno 4 Pro is now receiving the September security patch with version number CPH2109_11_A.17. This update is expected to bring an improved user experience, improved camera effects and better system performance to the smartphone.
Users of this device can check out for the update by navigating to Settings > Software Updates, the update should be present there. The update is presently rolling out in stages over-the-air and should get to different regions in the coming weeks.
The Reno 4 Pro is built around a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC which is perfect for smartphone gaming, and it also packs a 4,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.
Presently, OPPO is planning to launch the successor to the Reno 4 series, the Reno5, although there is no set date for the release of this series.
