it is a phone that has been anticipated for weeks, and now Infinix’s first 5G phone is available for sale here in Nigeria. Going by the name, Infinix Zero 5G, the phone is powered by a Dimensity 900 5G chipset.
The Zero 5G brings 2G, 3G, and 4G LTE support on 2G, 3G, 4G LTE on MTN, Globacom, Airtel, and 9mobile. Coming with 13 5G bands, we expect that it will be usable on MTN’s 5G network when it goes on stream later this year.
The rest of the specs are decent. They include a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with120Hz refresh rate, 8GB of RAM, 128GB built-in storage, 5000mAh battery and 33W fast charging.
There is a 48MP triple camera at the back and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It isn’t clear at this time what the specs of the selfie camera is.
Infinix Zero 5G is listed on Slot for ₦169,500, though there are issues with the image and specs published there. The image definitely does not tally with the leaks we have seen in the last weeks.
