TECNO POP 9: Specs, Price

TECNO POP 9 is one of the latest smartphones in Nigeria in August 2024. It replaces the POP 8 from 2023 as the brand’s entry-level model in 2024. This means that the POP 9 comes with the most barebones features and specs. It also means that it is the cheapest TECNO smartphone of the year 2024.

Because of its rock-bottom status, it has an IPS LCD screen and is built of plastic. But, surprise, surprise, the display has 120Hz refresh rate and an infrared blaster is included. This is a rarity at this price point. We hope the Unisoc T615 processor will be able to keep up.

Anyway, most importantly, it has a hefty 5000mAh battery to keep it running for at least a full day and it is available in three memory variants – 3GB/64GB, 3GB/128GB, and 4GB/128GB.
