OPPO Reno5 4G and Reno5 F heading to Kenya, Nigeria

OPPO Kenya has announced the launch date for two Reno5 smartphones in Kenya. Both the OPPO Reno5 4G and OPPO Reno5 F will be launched in the east African country on the 22nd of February 2021.

If you were expecting a 5G model, unfortunately none of those will be officially available in Kenya.

OPPO Reno5 launch in Kenya

Both phones are similar in many ways, sharing a 6.43″ AMOLED display, 8GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, 256GB microSDXC card support, 4G LTE, and 4310mAh battery.

They differ in screen refresh rate, front camera, main camera, processor, and fast charging, among other minor details.

Coming to Nigeria too

Both OPPO smartphones are expected to be launched in Nigeria too sometime in March [1].

The Reno5 4G was initially announced in Vietnam, and is gradually making its way to other countries. The Reno5 F has not been announced yet and the Kenya launch will likely be its first official unveiling.
