OPPO Reno 5K Launched With Quad Cameras, Snapdragon 750G Chipset

OPPO Reno 5K has been released in China as the latest smartphone in the Reno 5 series from the Chinese company. The OPPO Reno 5K seems like a rebrand of the Reno 5 5G which launched in China last year but brings a different chipset under the hood. The OPPO Reno 5K launched with four rear cameras and shares quite a number of features with the Reno 5 5G.

The OPPO Reno 5K runs the Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1 and is built around a 6.43-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset is paired with the Adreno 619 GPU and offers up to 12GB of RAM.

In the camera department, the Reno 5K boasts a quad-rear camera setup with a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP portrait sensor. Up front, a 32MP selfie camera with a five-piece lens takes care of video call responsibilities and selfies.

The OPPO Reno 5K launched with a dual-cell 4,300mAh battery pack that supports SuperVOOC 2.0, SuperVOOC, VOOC 3.0, PD, and QC charging protocols. This device will go on sale from the 6th of March in China, although there are no clear reports concerning the price of this device.
