OPPO has launched a new smartphone this week, as the OPPO Reno 5 4G joined the Reno 5 5G, Reno 5 Pro 5G and Reno 5 Pro+ 5G which made its way to the scene late last year. The OPPO Reno 5 launched with the Snapdragon 720G SoC under the hood, while also boasting quad rear cameras and 8GB of RAM.
The dual-SIM (Nano) OPPO Reno 5 runs the Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 on top. It is fitted with a 6.40-inch FHD+ (1080×2400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 90Hz screen refresh rate. This front panel sports a 44MP selfie camera that handles video calls.
In the rear panel, this smartphone has a quad-rear camera setup with a 64MP main sensor assisted by an 8MP secondary sensor, and two 2MP sensors. Under the hood, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC is hooked to 8GB of RAM and helps this device operate smoothly.
The OPPO Reno 5 launched with 128GB of onboard storage that can be expanded via microSD card and it packs a 4,310mAh battery that supports fast charging at 50W. The OPPO Reno 5 is available in two colour options, Silver and Mysterious Black colours. The OPPO Reno 5 launched with a single storage option, an 8GB+128GB model that sells for $374.
This mid-range device is currently available only in Vietnam, with no news yet telling us when this device will get to other regions.
