After a long wait, we are finally set to have another OPPO launched in Nigeria. Only a few weeks after launching in India, OPPO Nigeria is set to launch the Reno3 and Reno3 Pro here in Nigeria and this will definitely excite every true smartphone enthusiast. We are to expect an upgraded version of whatever is sold in China, however, the 5G versions will not be sold in Nigeria due to our current 4G capacities.

Generally, the Reno3 Pro is expected to flaunt a 6.5 inch AMOLED 90Hz display with an embedded fingerprint sensor. There could be up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage. The smartphone will run Android 10-based ColorOS 7 and pack a 4025mAh battery under the hood. The battery will support 30W fast charging. We are not quite sure if there will be any other variations to these specifications for the Nigerian variant apart from the 4G/5G modifications.

It is also rumoured that the OPPO Reno3 & Reno3 Pro Nigeria variant will feature a dual punch-hole camera setup on the front, contrary to what the smartphone’s China counterpart has. According to the report, the front-facing cameras will be a 44-megapixel snapper and a 2-megapixel snapper. The China model, on the other hand, has a 32-megapixel camera at the front. At the back, the OPPO Reno3 Pro in Nigeria is likely to be improved in terms of cameras. Unlike like the ones on the China model, the Nigerian version will have a 64MP main sensor instead of a 48MP main sensor.

We gather it might be launched with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, don’t quote us on this though.

Worthy of mention is the more affordable variant, the OPPO Reno3, which is very similar to the Reno3 Pro with only a few minor differences. Both the Reno3 and Reno3 Pro will run on the same Color OS 7, powered by the same 4,025 mAh battery, secured by an In-display fingerprint and face unlock and flaunt the same screen size of 6.4 inches.

Even at that, the price difference will come at a cost. The Reno 3 will be different from the Reno3 Pro in terms of the OLED waterdrop 44MP Ultra Night Selfie Camera, 48MP Quad Camera that supports 5x Hybrid Zoom capabilities, 5V41 VOOC 3.0 Charging System and the general phone design and colors.

We would share full information on the Reno3 & Reno3 Pro as soon as we confirm the accurate details.
