With the arrival of iPhone 15, Apple switched from the old Lightning port to USB-C for wired connectivity.
Thanks to the Power Delivery (PD) standard which Apple, Samsung, Google Pixels and many other phone brands use, the USB-C chargers of these different phones are compatible and will deliver fast charging when used interchangeably.
In other words, you can use a Samsung charger with your iPhone 15 Pro Max and enjoy fast charging. For example, if you use a Samsung charger that supports PD 2.0, it will charge your iPhone 15 Pro Max to 50% in 30 minutes.
So yes, you can charge an iPhone with a Samsung charger without any fear or worry. You can also charge it with a Google Pixel charger and any other thigh quality charger that supports Power Delivery.
Embedded below is a YouTube video in which I address the subject. Enjoy!
