Needing to charge multiple mobile devices isn’t such a strange situation to find yourself in these days. You probably own a smartphone, a Bluetooth headset, a power bank, a smartwatch, and perhaps a Bluetooth wireless speaker. If your situation fits this picture, Anker PowerPort 4 Lite is a wall charger with four (4) USB ports, so you can charge all of them at the same time.
Well, perhaps not all of them. Some of you are extraordinary people who own up to nine (9) devices. I have a friend who owns 3 smartphones, a tablet, a smartwatch, a Bluetooth headset, and a power bank. That 7 devices! He will still find the PowerPort 4 Lite handy. Being able to charge four out of seven at the same time is still a plus.
Let’s look at the features and specifications of the this interesting USB wall charger.

Anker PowerPort 4 Lite review: In The Box
Inside the packaging are four items:
- the Anker USB wall charger
- a swappable two-pin plug
- a swappable three-pin plug
- user guide
You have to provide the USB cables you will use with it yourself. The swappable plugs make this package ideal as a travel companion, so it is usable whether you are flying or sailing to North America, Europe or the United Kingdom. Actually, having both plugs has you covered wherever you go in the world.
Our review unit is in white (which we think we prefer to black). So, I went about using this to charge four devices at the same time – two smartphones, one power bank, and one headset.
What kind of fast charging does Anker PowerPort 4 Lite do?
The first thing to note is that the PowerPort 4 Lite is not compatible with Qualcomm Quick Charge, so smartphones that are equipped with Qualcomm Quick Charge are charged at normal speeds. The charger shares its total output of 5.4A among the 4 ports, with the maximum that each port can draw pegged at 2.4A. That means the fastest charging it offers per port is 12W – just a little faster than 10W.
Anker’s PowerIQ system analyses and identifies how fast each connected device can charge and delivers the appropriate power to them. At worst, a connected device gets charged at regular charging speed. At best, 12W fast charging, if compatible.
How much does Anker PowerPort 4 Lite cost?
The PowerPort 4 Lite costs £12.99 on Amazon, if you are in Europe. In Nigeria, it is available at Swot Solutions for ₦6,000 (WhatsApp/call +234 802 289 1860).
Conclusions
The PowerPort 4 Lite is a convenient charger to have whether for use at home, at the office, or when travelling. It cuts down on the time you spend charging each of your devices one after the other should you have only one or two devices available. It is also super-convenient in that even if you have multiple chargers available, with the Anker USB wall charger, you do not have to hunt for multiple sockets to plug them into.
This Anker PowerPort 4 Lite review was made possible by Swot Solutions, who provided the review unit. You can reach Swot for your smartphone, Bluetooth headset, Bluetooth speaker, USB wall charger, power banks, and more.

I believe this is the first charger that comes with 4 USB ports, never seen any charger with such multiple ports like this before. I’m surely getting myself one.
