Fast charging power banks are the in-thing these days. The faster you are able to top up your phone battery with a power bank, the better afterall. The Poolee PD30 Tiger fast charging power bank supports up to 22.5W fast charge. But this power bank has more than fast charging up its sleeves.
First, there is a massive 30,000mAh battery on the inside. This means that you can fully charge your 5,000mAh smartphone six times on a full battery.
Poolee PD30 Tiger 22.5W Fast Charging Power Bank Unboxing
The product comes in a simple white box. There are not many items inside. The list of included items include:
- the power bank itself
- a short USB-C cable
Thats it. As with every other power bank package we have seen, there is no wall charger/adapter included. Of course, you can use any one you have lying around at home to charge it.
The Poolee PD30 Tiger is a fairly compact portable battery and it even has a larnyard (in colour red) for easy carrying around. It feels solid in the hand. The build is all plastic.
Ports everywhere
The Poolee PD30 Tiger power bank is also equipped with 3 input ports and 4 output ports. That means you can charge it using any of three different ports – USB-C, micro USB, and Lightning port (old iPhone charging port).
But that is not all. It also has 4 output ports, so you can charge multiple devices at the same time. The output ports include:
- USB Type-C
- USB-A3
- USB-A2
- USB-A1
Those are plenty of options! If you have any of those ports on a cable, you can use them. This is certainly one of the most versatile power banks around.
PS: Of course, be sure to keep your charging cables short, as much as possible.
LED Display
This portable battery has a small LED Display that lights up to show you the battery percentage.

Flashlight
There is also a powerful flashlight at the back of the PD30 Tiger. To power it on, press and hold the button beside the layout of ports at the top of the device. Press and hold again to turn the flashlight off.
Charging the Poolee PD30 Tiger
As you can imagine, charging the 30,000mAh battery of the PD30 Tiger takes a while. A few hours. The best way to charge it is to plug it in overnight so it is fully charged by daybreak.
But police people won’t arrest you if you charge it at any other time, too. For example, if you are going to work and won’t need it on you then, plug it and leave it at home. Unless you are on Band Z, it should be fully charged long before you get back home in the evening.
Cost
The Poolee PD30 Tiger 22.5W fast charging power bank sells for ₦35,000 at the last time we checked it out in the store. Depending on exchange rate fluctuations, it might cost more or less at the time you are reading this article.
It has an even more robust sibling with a 50,000mAh battery and that one sells for ₦60,000. We have not handled it, but we imagine that the name will be Poolee PD50 Tiger or something like that. Of course, this 50,000mAh battery model is bulkier and heavier. If you can afford it, though, why not? It will provide you with longer power backup times.
Last words
What can we say? This is a fast charging power bank with character. It is the kind of backup power that you need to take with you on a long road trip or on a camping or hiking expedition. With a full charge, you can roam around without worrying about running out of battery power for your smartphone, be it an Android phone or an iPhone.
