Budget 5G smartphones are rare in Nigeria these days. If you’d love to use 5G internet via your mobile phone, you still have to shell out some serious cash, mostly.
Most 5agbsmartphones have price tags above ₦200,000. There are a few 5G phones under 200k, though. A very small handful. Let’s have a quick look at them.

itel P55 5G
The itel P55 5G has been one of the most affordable 5G smartphones since it’s release. The 6/128GB variant sells for ₦165,000, and that is a good deal.
Samsung Galaxy A14 5G
If you want a 5ag phone under ₦200,000 and must have a Samsung, the Galaxy A14 5G is your only option, and it isn’t particularly a good deal. The 4/64GB variant sells for ₦182,100.
4GB RAM and a meagre 64GB internal storage is hard for us to swallow, but if you must have a Samsung, that is what you have to settle for.
These are the only two 5G phones under 200k in the Nigerian market at this time. Or they are the only ones we have been able to find so far. We are always looking around, so if we find more, we will add them to this page.
In the meantime, if you want more performance and features than the above 5G phones offer, you will have to add more money and buy something more expensive.
Where to buy them
These 5G smartphones are available nationwide at all kinds of retailers, including phone shops, online stores, and online market places.
