Gionee K3 Pro has been quietly unveiled as the latest offering from the company. It will be recalled that the company filed for bankruptcy in 2018, but later made a resurgence, releasing a number of smartphones and watches last year. The release of this device may suggest that the company has no plans to shut down operations yet.
The Gionee K3 Pro is built around a 6.53-inch HD+ (720×1600 pixels) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a 13MP selfie shooter lodged in a teardrop notch. Under the hood, the 12nm-based 2GHz MediaTek Helio P60 SoC keeps this smartphone ticking, it works in tandem with 6 or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.
The Gionee K3 Pro runs the Android 9 Pie, which seems pretty dated especially at a time where the Android 11 OS is just around the corner. In the camera department, three rear cameras take care of photography duty, with this setup headlined by a 16MP main camera. This camera is assisted by two other cameras whose specs are still unknown.
A 4,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging keeps this smartphone powered. This device clocks in at 205 grams and measures 164.3×77.6×9.7 mm. The color options currently available include Pearl White and Jade Green. There are two storage variants available at different price points, with the 6GB+128GB model selling for $101 and the 8GB+128GB costing $129.
