The Redmi A5 4G continues Xiaomi’s entry-level line-up of phones, but with a twist this time. This basic smartphone with barebones features and specs also features dust and splash resistance. If the pattern with Xiaomi’s history is anything to go by, this is the cheapest Xiaomi smartphone of the year 2025.

Because of its rock-bottom status, it has an IPS LCD screen and is built of plastic. But, surprise, surprise, the display has 120Hz refresh rate, which is also a rarity at this price point. Keeping things running is a Unisoc T7250 processor, which is essentially an old chipset with a new name.

You will be happy to know that the Redmi A5 4G has a fairly extra 5200mAh battery to keep it running for at least a full day. It has 15W wired charging to work with. Lastly, it is currently available in two memory variants – 3GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB.
