In the last 2 years, I have tried quite a number of themes on my Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Pro. One of the strengths of Xiaomi’s MIUI is how customisable it is. I believe I have finally found the best MIUI 13 theme ever.
My phone, which was already on Android 12, finally got the MIUI 13 update in April this year. Which was a surprise, because it wasn’t listed as one of those eligible for it. Anyway, since then, themes compatible with MIUI 13 have been able to work on it.
Which is the best MIUI 13 theme?
I have tried out several themes. As I am partial to the stock Android and Pixel looks, I have given those a fair amount of trials. Unfortunately, none of them lived up to my expectations. The Pixel 4a theme came close, though. Really close. I have tired some themes that are styled after One UI, and several other random design styles. I enjoyed using Limitless, a clean theme by the MIUI theme, though, but it couldn’t hold me down. I even tried a few iOS-style themes. None held me down either and I always ended up switching back to the Classic MIUI theme. That’s the default theme that comes with the phone.
Finally, I ran into a theme named iOS V13 Pro 2.0, and boy, did it tick all the boxes. Immediately, I saw the preview, I decided to give it a try. It is an iOS-style theme. It changes your Home screen, Lock screen, icons, and system to look like what you’d see on an iPhone 13. After downloading it, you can uncheck any of these that you do not want changed, before applying it to your phone.
iOS V13 Pro 2.0 is really something. The visual changes are massive, and all well done (at least, to the extent that I have seen). And the choice of background wallpaper is tasteful. It is how all the little touches come together to produce consistency and elegance that does it for me. I wish the system changes are as massive as the home screen, lockscreen, and icons changes. But I can live with that.
Having used scores of MIUI themes, my verdict is that iOS V13 Pro 2.0, by Constantino, is the best MIUI 13 theme out there today. And I heartily recommend that you give it a try, if you don’t dislike how iOS looks.
