itel Nigeria has announced the A80 entry-level smartphone. It is a minor upgrade over its predecessor, but worth looking at if you are looking for a low-cost Android smartphone. This entry-level 4G smartphone a Unisoc T603 chipset, 4GB RAM, 128GB storage memory, up to 120Hz refresh rate, 6.7″ HD+ Waterdrop display, 50MP Super HDR camera, and a 5000mAh battery. TECNO Phantom V Fold2 5G

The Phantom V Fold2 is finally official, and it comes in a thinner, lighter, and stronger build. It also comes with TECNO’s new AI, a slightly bigger 5750mAh battery, and faster 70W charging. It also adds 15W wireless charging. Unfortunately, it is powered by the same Dimensity 9000+ processor used in its predecessor, so there is no improvement in performance. But if you are looking for the latest most affordable book-style foldable, the Phantom V Fold2 5G is it. Price? A handsome ₦1,729,000.

The Phantom V Flip2 is official, as well. It isn’t much of an upgrade, considering that it uses pretty much the same processor as its predecessor uses. But in good news, it now has a proper functional rectangle cover display that allows you to use the phone without opening it up. There is a bigger 4720mAh battery and 70W faster charging, as well. And as this is 2024 the year of AI, it has TECNO’s new AI inside too. Buying the Phantom V Flip2 5G will cost you no less than ₦1,009,000.

The Vivo V40 5G eventually went official on the 16th of September with a recommended retail price of ₦749,800. It is a mid-range camera-focused smartphone with ZEISS optics.
