Infinix is not often in the news for rolling out software updates to their smartphones, so when we got wind of news that certain Infinix phones will get Android 13, we got excited here at Mobility Nigeria.
XOS 13 is the latest version of XOS, Infinix’s custom user interface for their smartphones. XOS 13 is based on Android 13. It was released in May 2023 and we have seen some new phones released with it. But which of their phones will get Android 13 as a software update?

These Infinix phones will get Android 13
Listed below are the Infinix phones that will get the Android 14 update along with XOS 13:
- Infinix Note 12 – June 2023
- Infinix Note 12 5G – July 2023
- Infinix Zero 5G 2023 – August 2023
- Infinix Zero Ultra – August 2023
- Infinix Zero 20 – August 2023
These are the only Infinix smartphones that will be upgraded from Android 12 to Android 13. If you own one of them, you are in luck.
Infinix says that the software update will start rolling out to compatible devices from June and will be done in batches. So, if you don’t get yours immediately, do not fret.

How to upgrade your Infinix phone to Android 13
To update your Infinix smartphone, go to the phone Settings > System > System update > ONLINE UPDATE.
If the update is available, you will get notified and be presented with the option to download it. Once downloaded, approve the installation, after which your phone will restart with the new XOS 13 based on Android 13 running on it.
