Nothing Phone Community in Nigeria: Where are the cool kids?

I have been wondering: is there a Nothing Phone Community active in Nigeria? How many owners of Nothing smartphone do we have in the country? Of course, it will be hard to tell in terms of specific numbers. Why?

Nothing Technology is not officially shipping to Nigeria, so tracking sales figures will be tough. As it is, Nothing smartphones are currently available from only a few indie retailers on Jiji and elsewhere.

As at today, these are the price ranges for Nothing smartphones in Nigeria:

• CMF Phone 1: ₦495,000 to ₦550,000
• Nothing Phone 2a: ₦650,000 and above
• Nothing Phone 2: ₦1,000,000 and above.
• Nothing Phone 1: ₦500,000 and above.

Thanks to the crazy exchange rates, these budget smartphones have become quite pricey here now. A shame. Still, there is a small Pixel community in the country, so it shouldn’t be too difficult for a small Nothing community to grow over time.
