The guys at Android Headlines say that Infinix will be releasing its first foldable device this year. The upcoming device will be known as Infinix Zero Flip and has the product code, X6962 [1].
Leaked information from FCC filings [2] have also revealed that the Infinix Zero Flip will have a large square cover display (thank goodness!) with two vertically aligned cameras, have dual-SIM functionality, have 8GB of RAM, be fitted with 256GB internal storage, and have 70W fast charging.
The phone will be available in Titanium Black and perhaps other colorways as well. The dimensions are decent, coming to 170.35 x 73.4 x 7.64mm when opened up and 87.49 x 73.4 x 16.04mm when folded.
As expected, the Zero Flip supports LTE and 5G networks. More information about the device, as well as proper images, are being expected as we inch toward the official announcement and launch.
Infinix’s sister company, TECNO, released its first and second foldable devices in 2023. They were TECNO Phantom V Fold, a book style foldable, and TECNO Phantom V Flip, a clamshell foldable. Successors to both devices are being expected this year.
