Infinix Hot 40i unveiled with 6-8GB RAM, 18W fast charging

Infinix Hot 40i is the most affordable device in the Hot 40 series, made up of three phones – Hot 40 Pro, Hot 40, and Hot 40i. They all run XOS 13.0 based on Android 13, and come with a 5,000 mAh battery, as well as a software feature called Xboost gaming engine to better optimize the hardware during gaming, after which the differences start.

Besides having a 6.56″ LCD with 90Hz refresh rate, Infinix Hot 40i also features a Unisoc T606 chipset, up to 8GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, 5000mAh battery, and 18W fast charging.

Like all recently released models, Infinix has implemented Magic Ring in the Hot 40i. Magic Ring is the company’s take on Dynamic Island for notifications when the phone is unlocked, plugged in to charge, or during a call.

In the camera department, the Infinix Hot 40i features a 32 MP selfie camera in a punch hole in front, and a 50 MP main camera supported by an “AI cam” at the back.

This is a budget Android smartphone and so is made of plastic. It comes in four colors, namely: Black, Blue, Gold, and Green.

It comes in three memory configuration – 4/128GB, 8/128GB, and 8/256GB internal storage, costing ₦103,900, ₦122,900, and ₦134,900 respectively. Pointek already has it in stock as at today 7th of December 2023, and it should be available at other stores like Slot, Finet, 3CHub, and Swot also.
