TECNO Camon 15 Series launched with AI quad camera, quad LED flash

As key cities in Nigeria come under lockdown due to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, TECNO Mobile decided to take its Camon 15 Series launch event online on the 2nd of April. The Camon 15 Series are made up of TECNO Camon 15 Air, TECNO Camon 15, and TECNO Camon 15 Premier. The TECNO Camon 15 Pro, which had initially launched in India and Pakistan in February 2020, is almost the same as the Camon 15 Premier, the difference being in the rear quad camera.

The Camon 15 Air has an Octa-core processor, 3GB RAM, and 64GB storage memory.

The Camon 15 packs a 6.55″ display with a punch hole selfie camera embedded, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, 48MP AI quad camera, 16MP punch hole selfie camera, and is powered by an octa-core Mediatek Helio P22 processor.

Its more endowed sibling, TECNO Camon 15 Premier, has a 6.6″ display, a motorized pop-up selfie camera with a 32MP lens, a 64MP AI quad camera at the back, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 4000mAh battery. Like the Camon 15, it has a fingerprint scanner at the back too. The Camon 15 Pro is TECNO’s first smartphone with a motorized pop-up camera.

In terms of software, all 3 Camon 15 models run HiOS V6.0.1 based on Android 10. The Camon 15, Camon 15 Air, and Camon 15 Premier are immediately available on pre-order. The prices are ₦62,500 (Camon 15) and ₦95,000 (Camon 15 Premier).
