In the last one year, Nigerians have seen mobile networks and Internet Service Providers create special dat bundles that offer a lot of data for small, pocket-friendly tariffs. It kicked off with the Big Four and was also followed by data-only providers like Smile and ntel. The new Spectranet mini plans follow that trend.

There are two data packages included under the Spectranet Mini Plans – a 6GB for 1500 naira plan, and a 20GB for 4500 naira plan. Before the introduction of these two plans, Spectranet’s data plans were not competitive when lined up against what was available from other Internet providers. That has now changed.

spectranet mini plansSpectranet Mini plans are seimilar to MTN 6GB for ₦1500, Airtel 6GB for ₦1500, Glo 7GB for ₦1500, and 9mobile 7GB for ₦1500 weekly plans. If you have a Spectranet SIM card, you can subscribe to either of these special data plans and enjoy voluminous data.

Features of the Spectranet Mini Plans

The Spectranet Mini Plans are not monthly plans. They have validity periods of 7 days and 10 days for the 6GB and 20GB plans respectively. That means the Spectranet 6GB for 1500 mini plan will be available for use for 7 days, after which you have to renew.

In a similar fashin, the Spectranet 20GB for 4500 mini plan is available for use for 10 days, after which you have to renew.

Note: Part of these mini data plans are anytime data, and another protion is marked as promo data. For example, with thw 6GB mini plan, 2GB is anytime data and 4GB is promo. For the 20GB mini plan, 10GB is anytime data and 10GB is marked as promo data.

Spectranet says the promo data cannot be rolled over. Apoart from that, it does not appear that there are any other restictions on these Spectranet Mini plans.
