The Nokia 8.3 is HMD Global’s first 5G smartphone and was announced back in March 2020. The phone has since gone on pre-order first in the United Kingdom and Switzerland, before it went global.

This phone has a 6.8″ display, a 64-megapixel rear quad camera with ZEISS lens and optics. The selfie camera has ZEISS optics too. Here is everything you need to know about the Noka 8.3 in Nigeria, including release date and price.

The phone comes in both single and dual SIM options. Traditionally, the dual-SIM option of their phones is what HMD Global sells in Nigeria, so this is no different. There are two memory variants – one with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, and the second with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It is the higher variant (8/128GB) that is available officially in Nigeria.

While the phone supports 5G network, there are no commercial 5G networks available yet in Nigeria, but you can enjoy 5G access when you travel to a number of countries in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Pre-order starts from September 25th, 2020 and runs till 2nd October, 2020. The 8.3 will be available in stores from 9th October, 2020. Pre-order units come with Nokia Earbud.
