Lava Mobile quietly introduces Z50 Pro 4G Smartphone through Airtel Nigeria

Indian smartphone maker, Lava, has quietly introduced the Lava Z50 Pro 4G smartphone in the Nigerian market. The phone is available through a partnership with the mobile network operator, Airtel Nigeria.

The Z50 Pro is an entry-level 4G phone running Android 8 Oreo. It has a 5-inch display, 5 MP camera, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory, and a 2500 mAh battery.

Airtel is running a campaign to push affordable smartphones into the hands of Nigerians. The operator currently has the widest 4G coverage in the country.

Costing N24,000, the Lave Z50 Pro 4G can be purchased from Airtel Nigeria outlets in Lagos and around the country.

    The one thing I love about Airtel. When they deploy, they go wide. Same thing with 3G back then, I got good service in remote villages far from the cities even when other networks hasn’t fully covered cities!
