CDMA mobile operator, Starcomms, has introduced new volume-based data renewal plans exclusive for Motorola Q and Q9c smartphones.

The data plans, which include 1x and EVDO access on the iZAP service, are:
- iZAP 1GB plan: 1GB with 30 days validity – N3,500
- iZAP 2GB plan: 2GB with 30 days validity – N4,500
The data plans can be subscribed to via SMS, but details of the codes are not presently available. Mobile data just got more convenient on the Starcomms network.

iZAP is a 3G Mobile broadband service that gives you fast access to the internet, intranet and emails on Starcomms’ EVDO network. The average download speed is 300 – 600 kbps and capable of peak speeds of upto 2.4mbps.

The Motorola Q9c also sports 96 MB RAM / 256 MB ROM, a 1.3 megapixel camera, A-GPS, Bluetooth 2.0 and miniUSB connectivity.

CDMA mobile network operator, Starcomms Nigeria, has provided subscribers to its internet services with new options to pay for their subscriptions. The options include:
- Recharge cards
- SMS through direct airtime debit
- Interswitch debit/ATM cards
Subscribers who want to use these options need to register online at www.starcomms.com.
