Box, an online storage service, is offering 50GB worth of online storage to Android users. They offer a service similar to all the popular cloud storage servers like Dropbox, and iCloud.
To be able to get your 50GB, all you need do is go to Android market and install Box. After you login or register, you are automatically given 50GB which I think is very cool.

Good question but it doesn’t strike me as a question especially for we Nigerians and the rest of Africa and third world countries as things are presently. I’m definitely going to get the app and subscribe eventually but for someone that against wastage, do you expect me to put so much up there in the cloud when I have a cheaper alternative in Micro SD card and can easily move things about?
Sure I will have important documents stored in my account but my media files have no business residing in the cloud when they are very handy through Bluetooth mass storage and my personal WiFi network. If things improve tremendously in terms of data allowance per subscription then my media files may be stored in the cloud but not before. Of course, connection speed also has to improve as well.

Sure, but I do make backups from time to time of very important files on my phone and those would occupy a few tens of mega bytes of space and would definitely find their way to the clouds.
I also have backup of my media files at home but I will not even think of putting those in the cloud for whatever benefits for now. And the Americans are coming up with those SOAP and ACTA bills. Though their attention is still on America and Europe, they will soon be here when they are through with those regions.
And who says online storage cannot go Awry?
