Delighted to see these sort of initiatives take place. Smartphone adoption among users should be encouraged by network operators

I’m typing this in from a Nokia500 which is 3.2″ wide in screen. You need to be familiar with touch to use it well, or you just take some time ti learn
A 2.8″ screen on the other hand is soooo small. I can only imagine the discomfort of typing from a device that small.

This phone is certainly not for techy people. So before you start nagging about 2.8” and 50mb, remember that some people mobile experience is limited to the nokia ‘torchlight beauty’. So this would be great. Its definitely not for me though.

its a good development, let dem enter provided they are not coming with “Techno” type of phone. Let dem enter with both entry-level smart fone and the high-end ones, whoever is going for it knos wht he/she is going for, I tnk the awareness is growing now:people go for what they think will meet their needs for the kind of money they have instead of I must belong, just as the awareness is growing now in terms of service providers in 9ja(some said, whether good or bad, expensive or not, it must be Empty-N)

This phone’s prce vs feature taxonomy is something to go GAGA about!
Can Nokia produce a similarly spec’d phone for N19K? Probably, but ‘just’!
This is truly pushing the ‘price envelope’!
But Android? Nah!

Dear Arc Leye,
I’m having the Gaga phone with me now for trial. It is currently available in all Etisalat’s outlet. Please note; It is locked to Etisalat network.
I should have a full review up here at Mobility soon. Just got my head wraped round the fun beginning yesterday.
