Ovi Browser brings rich web browsing to Series 40 devices that’s fast, easy, and saves on data charges. The browser is powered by patented cloud-based Internet compression technology that delivers advanced web pages to your phone. As a result, pages show up quicker than ever and over the air data usage is reduced up to 90%. Beyond performance, the browser includes an innovative user interface that makes it easy to access your favorite content directly from the start page without having to hunt through menus.

That was an impressive move by nokia. I hope the symbian version shall follow soon.What i like most about the browser, is the selectable search engine.Who knows this could be an alternative to opera.

Looks like an opera in Ovi skin or more basically it uses the same technology as Opera. Which ever way, this is a nice one.
And they say tabbed browsing will be added later.

I already tried it out on my 2730. It works fine but it does not match operamini in ‘value added’ features, u know what i mean.
It runs d network test at every startup, i could not access its history, it does not hav an option for saving or downloading images but it does a great job on data compression, u cant but notice this ‘cos it shows a summary of traffic at exit.
Its all gud, great move by the finns.
