Watching Embedded Videos on Nokia E90 Web Browser

Posted on 25 November 2008 by Mister Mobility

Nokia recently released a firmware update for the all-conquering Nokia E90 communicator. Among other things, the update improves the browser such that videos embedded in web pages can be watched directly. This means that users can now watch U-tube and other similar videos directly online. It is beautiful and a great bonus to an already excellent device.

Here’s a shot clip you can download to see the new improved browser in action. In the clip, the video playing is that on this page. As we played it back on the E90′s web browser, we filmed it with the 5 mega-pixel Samsung i900 “Omnia”, and then converted it to 3GP format to reduce the file size. Enjoy!
